I always thought it would be fun to marry into a big family.
This was before I met Kris. Back, even, in the days when I thought I’d probably never marry. I envisioned loud meals bubbling with hearty laughter, and family parties with lots of… mingly chatty stuff and hugging. I imagined a vast support network. A safe place.
I was surprised that I actually got my wish.
